All the social processes are the product of social interaction. Human life is full of social process like cooperation, competition and conflict. As the interaction pattern changes the process also change simultaneously. These processes can be called patterns of social interaction.

What are the different types of social processes?
The comprehensive or master processes are (1) Communication, (2) Boundary maintenance, (3) System linkage, (4) Social control, (5) Socialisation and (6) Institutionalisation. Social process can be positive or negative.
